Monica Kenyon, from Joe and Buzz sings both lead and background vocals and we enlisted the talents of Tammy Rogers (fiddle) and Richard Bailey (Banjo) who are members of the Grammy nominated band the SteelDrivers. Coincidentally, Brian and I have written with Gary Nicholson, who can be heard on a handful of the Steeldrivers songs, small world. Enjoy!

We were excited that Jeff Bogle reviewed Wanna Play? Jeff has one of the coolest kids / parenting blogs Out With The Kids. He favorite song from the record happens to be ours too, Love Makes Life So Sweet, which he likens to Harry Connick Jr’s Recipe For Love! Here is a link to his nice review: OWTK
We’re slurping watermelon and chomping corn on the cob back east, having a dandy time, but also having big time appreciation for our sunny and 73 Los Angeles home! Can someone say “humid”? Uhhh, a tad on the toasty side here in PA.
Meanwhile, Brian is manning/ managing the homefront…thank you, Brian! So delighted for all the amazing reviews for Wanna Play? Gee whiz, we couldn’t be more humbled and inspired.
A couple side projects have us writing and recording via iphone 4-track app(!) at the moment, while some new SC material is marinating.
Speaking or marinating…back to the bbq! Happy Summer, everybody!
xo,
Steph
